2

Adjust CIDR Prefix

Drag the slider to pick your mask (/8 to /32).

3

Copy Subnet Specifications

Copy network address, usable host range, or complete CIDR summary.

Privacy & In-Browser Execution Guarantee

100% Client-Side. Your IP addresses and network topologies are never transmitted across the network.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between total hosts and usable hosts?

In standard IPv4 subnets (/30 and below), the first address is reserved as the Network ID and the last address is reserved as the Broadcast address, so usable hosts equal 2^(32-CIDR) - 2. Point-to-point /31 subnets (RFC 3021) allow 2 usable hosts without broadcast.
